Works great March 16, 2022 Reviewer: Matt Newman from Locust Grove, GA United States   Installed a week ago on my 2005 Century with 705,000 miles (14L Detroit 60). Installation too easy, did it during pre-trip, literally took 2 min. Idle sounds better. Oil pressure up between 5 and 10 pounds. Engine runs around 10 degrees cooler. Way more power! Feels like different truck. Pulled a 46,550 lb load felt like how 36,000 lbs felt before mod. Hell even engine brakes feel stronger. Too soon to figure any fuel mileage gains, but to be honest even if mileage doesn't improve I feel mod is worth the money. The ONLY negative was the zip ties that come with it are too short, but seriously what driver doesn't have zip ties? Was this review helpful to you?

Simple Fix Sometimes the Best Fix November 3, 2021 Reviewer: Mark Klein from Rush, NY United States   I have to say this is the best $150 I have spent. I have been chasing a intermittent smokey Detroit 60 series issue. Replaced CAC, replaced sensors, replaced turbo boots, replaced VPOD etc. while those slightly helped, once I plugged in the UGLY fix (2 minute job) BAAM. I just finished a 1200 mile tour. No more random smoke issue. Plus my gas mileage went up 1/2 gallon per mile. Sometime the simple fix is the best fix. Was this review helpful to you?

Detroit 60 series Ugly Fix June 1, 2021 Reviewer: Dan from Ontario Canada   Recently I purchased a 2nd Ugly fix,  solely as a back up to my initial Ugly Fix  purchase of a year ago. With a fresh rebuild of my 14 Ltr Detroit series 60,  a new EGR  valve, radiator  and a new ( not reman) VPOD and EGR cooler, my engine ran hot all the time and shifting was absolutely challenging as my engine speed dropped off so fast as I moved into the next gear. This compromised the center bearing on my clutch, U-joints and power divider etc. With 41 year's trucking behind me, the Ugly Fix seemed like the rest, just another gadget,  But boy was I  wrong.  The Ugly Fix  does as it says, and more. My engine temps now run within spec,  my fast engine speed drop off no longer exists, making shifting so much easier,  and fuel mileage increase is a solid 1 mpg with smoother engine performance all around., and the engine oil stays so much cleaner for longer durations.
