Nice solution to an ugly problem May 11, 2017 Reviewer: Don Payseur from Port Wentworth, GA United States   I have owned several International ProStar tractors and keeping the EGR system sound and the aftertreatment system clean has always been a tedious task. I purchased the ugly fix for my Cummins cm871 engine.  The installation took about two minutes with unbelievable results! Over the last two thousand miles, my fuel mileage has averaged 7.8 miles per gallon and the power is very noticeable! I have also noticed that my aftertreatment system is performing regenerations at a far less rate and I am very interested in checking my doc and my DPF. I sure do recommend the ugly fix.  It is an amazing solution and I enjoy going down the road with more confidence in my engine. Was this review helpful to you?

Ugly fix January 30, 2017 Reviewer: Maximilian Mcneal from Richton park, IL United States   I can't really elaborate on the uf because I was having egr issues again, 300k after replacing it so instead of replacing it is just unplugged it. Put the uf  on and plugged it back in and got the same smoke and power loss. Unplugged it again with uf still on and I'm rolling now with no issues. I have the 06 model isx 435 with 1,011,000k on it so i cant complain. Have a few 06 Detroit 60s coming and we'll try her out on those! Thanks Was this review helpful to you?

Great product November 2, 2016 Reviewer: Carl Maxwell from Fort smith, AR United States   I installed the product. The first thing I noticed was that my engine ran smoother. I have more power. Usually when going across 540 in AR I have to down shift two gears loaded with 45000 but now I don't have to down shift. My fuel mileage did increase. Was this review helpful to you?

ISX Ugly FIx on a 525 Cummins in a Motorhome September 1, 2016 Reviewer: Randy from Gering, NE United States   Just got back from a 400 mile outing, a little too soon to tell, but it does feel spunkier.  I will know more when we take a longer trip to see about the fuel mileage improvement.  Also just had the oil changed so will see if it stays less black now as well.  Feel confident that it is for the better this way.
