So Far So Good May 19, 2025 Reviewer: Cooper from San Antonio, TX United States   I have only taken one trip since installing the ugly fix. It was about 500 miles round trip. I noticed less lag in the turbo and 4/10ths increase in mileage. It was a breeze to install, took about 2 minutes and about 3 to tie back up. Would recommend for sure. 2006 Prevost 60 series. EGR Issues/ 2005 Prevost Marathon January 19, 2025 Reviewer: James Oglesby from Charlotte, NC United States   I had a problem with my EGR. I had it fixed, but it still didn't have enough acceleration, power, and produced black smoke. But I ordered the fix and it fixed all my EGR problems. It fixed my power, acceleration, and no smoke. Everything it says! August 24, 2024 Reviewer: Charles King from Hastings, NY United States   I have a 2006 freightliner Columbia with the 14L Detroit. Had to replace the turbo and v-pod then the EGR valve. it still had no power and ran hot. Fan kept running on and off. Radiator is new. Charge air cooler checked out fine. Thermostats changed. Finally ordered the ugly fix in hopes it would do something. It absolutely did!. Right away on start up there was no jet engine whistles. Acceleration is smooth now and shifts are much easier and smoother. Not a huge power increase but definitely a lot less felt drag on the motor. And the temperature stayed down. Fan rarely comes on unless a long hard pull. Plus its not working as hard and I noticed an immediate .5 mpg fuel increase. Im sure in time itll get even better. And Im sure the oil will be much cleaner . Huge.. Huge!! Difference. So happily satisfied. And for only $170 its a real bargain. Especially if you look into major delete options or programs. Question on a specific engine January 5, 2024 Reviewer: Batbayar Erdene from Elk Grove Village, IL United States   haven’t been able to find a location where I could install this on my 2009 Freigthliner Columbia Detroit 60 Series engine after a while of searching for a place. Can anyone confirm if it will fit on engine in the first place? And if it can do you have a specific location of where to install it? Help would be much appreciated thank you.
